Flying car AI video prompts

To make the flying car video by hand you need four prompts: an arena with a giant curved ramp, a first frame with your car at the foot of the ramp, a last frame with your car landed in smoke, and a video prompt that tells a first-and-last-frame image-to-video model how the car climbs, launches on thrusters, flips and lands. All four are below, ready to copy.

How to make the flying car video with prompts

  1. Make the arena. Generate one empty night arena with the giant curved ramp and reuse it for both frames, so the scene doesn't change.
  2. Make the first frame. Give the image model your car photo and the arena, and ask for your car lined up at the foot of the ramp.
  3. Make the last frame. Same car photo and arena: your car just landed, facing the camera, headlights on, thick smoke around it.
  4. Animate the stunt. Load the first frame and the last frame into a 10-second image-to-video generation with the stunt prompt.

Prompt 1 — the arena (reuse it)

Making the scene once and passing it into both frames keeps the ramp, lights and ground identical, which is what makes the shot read as one continuous take.

Arena · image model · 9:16

A huge empty night arena on a dark airfield. A giant curved launch ramp rises from the ground like a quarter-pipe and curls up to vertical, about 30 metres tall, grey concrete with a thin red neon line along each edge, held up by a black steel truss. Stadium floodlights and searchlight beams in light haze, wet dark asphalt with reflections. No cars, no people. Vertical 9:16, photorealistic, no text.

Prompt 2 — the first frame (your car)

Attach your car photo first and the arena second. Check the model, colour and wheels before you go on — the video can't fix a wrong car.

First frame · image model with 2 reference images · 9:16

Image 1 is a photo of my car. Image 2 is a night arena with a giant curved ramp. Show the exact car from Image 1 — same make, model, body shape, paint colour, wheels and lights — on the asphalt a few metres before the foot of the ramp, pointing at it, seen from the side-rear three-quarter so the car and the whole ramp are in frame. Headlights and tail lights on, red reflections on the wet ground. Keep the ramp, neon edges and floodlights from Image 2. Vertical 9:16, photorealistic, no text, no people.

Want your name on it? Add: "The rear number plate reads YOURNAME in clean plate lettering." Use the same line in the last frame.

Prompt 3 — the last frame (touchdown)

Last frame · image model with 2 reference images · 9:16

Image 1 is a photo of my car. Image 2 is a night arena with a giant curved ramp. The exact car from Image 1 has just landed on the wet asphalt in front of the ramp, facing the camera at a front three-quarter angle, whole car in frame, seen from slightly below headlight height. Headlights on, cutting through thick billowing white smoke around and behind it; a faint blue glow fades under the car. The car is undamaged and level on all four wheels. Vertical 9:16, photorealistic, no text, no people.

Prompt 4 — the stunt (image-to-video)

Use a model that takes a first and a last frame, set 10 seconds, vertical. The time stamps matter: without them most models skip the climb or turn the flip into a melt.

Stunt · first + last frame · 10 s

One continuous 10-second shot, no cuts. 0–2 s: the car accelerates hard toward the giant curved ramp, the camera tracking alongside. 2–5 s: it drives up the curve until it is vertical, the camera tilting up to follow. 5–7 s: it launches off the top; four jets under the body fire bright blue flames with white vapour trails and the car does one slow controlled flip. 7–9 s: it levels out and hovers, sinking onto the asphalt in a huge cloud of white smoke. 9–10 s: it lands level on all four wheels facing the camera, headlights cutting through the smoke. The car is rigid and solid the whole time — same shape, colour and wheels; it never melts, stretches or changes model. No other vehicles, no people, no text.

Traffic version (first frame only: your car stuck in a city jam): "2–4 s: four jets under the car ignite blue and it lifts straight up off the road, wheels hanging, while the cars around it stay put. 4–8 s: it rises above the traffic and flies off down the avenue. 8–10 s: it shrinks into the distance, vapour trails behind it."

Common glitches and how to fix them

ProblemFix
The car bends or melts during the flipAdd "rigid solid vehicle, never melts or stretches", keep one slow flip only, and avoid asking for spins.
The car changes model mid-airUse the same car photo for both frames and regenerate the frames until both are clearly your car.
It skips the climb and just jumpsKeep the 2–5 s climb line and make sure the first frame shows the whole ramp.
Extra cars or people appearSay "no other vehicles, no people" in every prompt; keep the arena empty.
The smoke hides the car at the endAsk for headlights cutting through the smoke and a front three-quarter last frame with the whole car visible.

FAQ

Which AI tools can make the flying car video?

Any image model that accepts reference images for the two frames, plus an image-to-video model that supports a first and last frame and 10-second clips. Or use Flying Car AI, which does all of it from one photo.

Do I need a first and last frame?

For a video that stays your car, yes. A text-only prompt makes a random car, and a single start image lets the model change the car mid-flight.

Why does my car melt when it flips?

Video models struggle with fast rotation. Ask for one slow flip, describe the car as rigid and solid, and anchor the end with a last frame of your car.

Can I use these prompts for free?

Yes, copy them into whichever tools you use. Generation costs depend on those tools.
